2013-8月16日  ATI / AMD GFN GPU应用程序测试
感谢Yves Gallot  我们准备现在 Genefer 运用新的ATI/AMD GPU  OpenCL 。
如果您有一个ATI或AMD GPU和希望运行GFN任务,或者只是想帮助测试,你可以在这里下载GeneferOCL的应用程序,并在这里讨论线程中运行新的应用程序问题。

目前,你必须使用匿名平台“app_info.xml”的机制运行GeneferOCL。
在目前的时间只有Windows版本32位或64位Windows上运行

2013-09-10: OpenCL Genefer app available for ATI GPUs!

At long last, you can now run GFN and GFN World Record tasks on your ATI GPUs!

Only GPUs supporting double precision floating point are compatible with GFN.

This new OpenCL app can also be run on Nvidia GPUs. Sometimes the OpenCL app is faster; sometimes the CUDA app is faster. You can select whichever one runs faster on your system.

支持 ATI GPU 的 OpenCL Genefer 程序!

假如您的 ATI GPU 支持双精度运算, 那么可以运行以下子项目:

Generalized Fermat Prime Search (Short n=20)
Generalized Fermat Prime Search (World Record n=22)


您也可以使用Nvidia GPU 来运算 OpenCL 程序。

因为觉得那句话是废话……有哪个就用哪个,两者皆有选优的(看心情?),这是人之常情。

上wiki有些不妥。
因为不是翻译,和原文出入太太,同时加入个人猜测。
比如:
GFN and GFN World Record  
在子项目那里找了半天,只有 GF 满足要求。
我说的那两个子项目,是根据 World Record 来找的。


还有
Only GPUs supporting double precision floating point are compatible with GFN.
GFN表示一个子项目,还是两个子项目?
不清楚……

大意:

PrimeGrid子项目“Sierpinski / Riesel Base 5 (LLR)”找到一个超过一百万位的质数—— 173198*5^1457792-1 ,
从而证明了 k=173198 不是“Riesel Base 5 number”(基数为5的黎瑟尔数)。
译者注:若存在正偶数 k,使得对任意非负数n,k*5^n-1 都是合数,那么 k 被称为“Riesel Base 5 number ”。

这个质数的十进制表示有1,018,959位,收录于“The Largest Known Primes Database”(最大已知质数数据库),排名第67位。

这是第一个已知的“base 5 mega prime”。

发现者是来自队伍“Team 2ch”的日本人 Motohiro Ohno (ID: syusui)。
机器配置:
Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-2120 CPU @ 3.30GHz,4GB 内存,Microsoft Windows 7 家庭版。
这台机器花了22小时29分完成了"primality test using LLR"。

来自队伍“Duke University”美国人 Scott Brown 验证了此次结果,用时33小时22分。
机器配置:
Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-2600 CPU @ 3.40GHz,8 GB 内存,Microsoft Windows 7 家庭版。

We would prefer users "moving on" to finish those tasks they have downloaded, if not then please ABORT the WU's instead of DETACHING, RESETTING, or PAUSING.

ABORTING WU's allows them to be recycled immediately; thus a much faster "clean up" to the end of a Challenge. DETACHING, RESETTING, and PAUSING WU's causes them to remain in limbo until they EXPIRE. Therefore, we must wait until WU's expire to send them out to be completed.

2015-08-28: PrimeGrid, New LLR apps and deadline extensions

All LLR projects (SGS, CUL, WOO, PPS, PPSE, PPS-MEGA, 321, SoB, PSP, ESP, TRP, SR5) have been upgraded to version 7.03.
If you're using app_info, aka anonymous platform, you'll definitely want to upgrade your apps to get the latest wrapper AND llr executables. The llr.ini file is unchanged.
The new wrapper does trickle-ups to facilitate automatic deadline extensions if your computer is running late. Please see this thread for details.
The new LLR version fixes some error handling and resolves a problem where tests near FFT boundaries might run much slower than expected. LLr 3.8.16 is discussed in this thread.
Please let us know if there's any problems in this thread.

The prime is 1,002,564 digits long and will enter Chris Caldwell's The Largest Known Primes Database ranked 193rd overall.

The discovery was made by Randall Scalise (Randall J. Scalise) of the United States using an Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4590 CPU @ 3.50GHz with 8GB RAM, running Linux. This computer took about 1 hour 12 minutes to complete the primality test using LLR.

The prime was verified on 12 November 2016, 17:23:33 UTC by John S. Chambers (Johnny Rotten) of the United States using an Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-3770K CPU @ 3.50GHz with 16GB RAM, running Microsoft Windows 7 Professional Edition. This computer took about 1 hour 23 minutes to complete the primality test using LLR. John is a member of the SETI.USA team.

又找到一个巨大的普罗斯素数!(其实排名才193)
2016年11月12日17:02:17(北京时间的话应该是13日01:02),primegrid找到了一个大质数:
这个质数有1002564位,在Chris Caldwell的已知最大质数数据库中排名第193名
由美国的Randall Scalise (Randall J. Scalise) 用i5-4590cpu,8G RAM,Linux找到的,完成检验用时一小时十二分钟。
该质数于同日17:23:33(北京时间13日01:23)由美国的John S. Chambers (Johnny Rotten) 使用i7-3770k,16G RAM,win7验证成功。这次验证用时一小时二十三分钟。

The prime is 1,035,606 digits long and will enter [size=1em]Chris Caldwell's The Largest Known Primes Database
ranked 208th overall.

The discovery was made by Lukáš Hron ([size=1em]LookAS
) of the Czech Republic using an Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-4790 CPU @ 3.60GHz with 8GB RAM, running Microsoft Windows 10. This computer took about 1 hour 30 minutes to complete the primality test using LLR. Lukáš is a member of the [size=1em]Czech National Team.

The prime was verified on 2 November 2017, 21:52:50 UTC by PrimeGrid user “[size=1em]BarryAZ” of the United States using an Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4590 CPU @ 3.30GHz with 10GB RAM, running Microsoft Windows 7. This computer took about 1 hour 9 minutes to complete the primality test using LLR. BarryAZ is a member of the [size=1em]BOINC Synergy team.

The prime is 1,718,572 digits long and enters Chris Caldwell's The Largest Known Primes Database ranked 6th for Generalized Fermat primes and 53rd overall.

The discovery was made by Howard Gordon ([PST]Howard) of the United Kingdom using a Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 in an AMD Ryzen 1950X with 32GB RAM, running Microsoft Windows 10 Core Edition. This GPU took about 30 minutes to probable prime (PRP) test with GeneferOCL3. Howard is a member of the PrimeSearchTeam team.

Double-checker information will be provided once available.

The PRP was confirmed prime by an Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-4670K CPU @ 3.40GHz with 24GB RAM, running Microsoft Windows 7 Professional Edition. This computer took about 10 hours 10 minutes to complete the primality test using multithreaded LLR.

本月16日,太平洋标准时间15:38:45,PrimeGrid的搜索广义费马数项目有了新发现:
3596074^262144+1
这个费马数有一百七十一万八千五百七十二位数字,是目前已知的第6大的广义费马数,在目前已发现的素数中排名第53。
该素数的发现者为来自英国的老铁Howard Gordon ,他使用的装备是GTX 1060搭配Ryzen 1950X ,内存32G 。这块GPU用了大约半个小时检验了这个素数。这位老铁是团队“PrimeSearchTeam“的成员。
Double-Cherker 信息稍后会放出。
*后面还有一段是说PRP验证的东西,不懂是什么,应该是一种检验方式吧。

The discovery was made by Sean Humphries (No.15) of the United States using an AMD Radeon RX Vega in an AMD Ryzen 7 1800X CPU with 32GB RAM, running Microsoft Windows 10 Professional Edition. This GPU took about 24 minutes to probable prime (PRP) test with GeneferOCL5. Sean is a member of the Overclock.net team.

The prime was verified on 3 December 2017, 07:29:36 UTC by Wolfgang Schwieger (DeleteNull) of Germany using an NVidia GeForce GTX Titan Black GPU in an Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700K CPU at 4.00GHz with 32GB RAM, running Linux. This GPU took about 27 minutes to probable prime (PRP) test with GeneferOCL5. Wolfgang is a member of the SETI.Germany team.

The PRP was confirmed prime by an Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-7700K CPU @ 4.20GHz with 16GB RAM, running Microsoft Windows 10 Professional Edition. This computer took about 5 hours 45 minutes to complete the primality test using multithreaded LLR.

最大广义费马数排行榜第六名的宝座现在由3673932^262144+1占领! (掩面,3596074^262144+1 上位才不到一个月就被干下去了,我还以为看错新闻。。
这个广义费马数有一百七十二万一千零一十位数字(比之前的第六名多了2438位!

The prime was verified on 3 December 2017, 22:23:34 UTC by Lucas Brown (LucasBrown) of the United States using an Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-6700K CPU @ 4.00GHz with 64GB RAM, running Linux. This computer took about 48 minutes to complete the primality test using LLR. Lucas is a member of the XKCD team.

2017.12.05 又一个巨大的普罗斯素数!
本月3号,PrimeGird 的子项目Proth Prime Search 找到了这个巨大的素数:
1065*2^3447906+1
该素数有一百零三万七千九百二十七位,在已知所有素数中排名第210.(最近新发现的素数好像都是这个位置左右。。
发现者和验证信息就不译了,老看土豪们的配置也没啥意思。。
