SETIatWork is currently down because the server has failed. This page is currently hosted on a temporary virtual hosting account.
I have final got in contact with my ISP this morning and he said he still need some time trying to recover the data from the hard disk before reinstalling the system. He estimated he might be able to give me the server back by Saturday afternoon or evening (UTC). But, I am not so sure given he was supposed to do that a couple days ago.
Many fellow SETI users have generously offered help and some offered me to use their servers. I am gratefull to all of you. Two days ago, I decided to take an offer for a fast server from an ISP owner and it can be use as a mirrored server. However, I have not received any follow-up yet.
I have some scripts and data ready to be used but just missing a server (this virtual hosting account has too little bandwidth).<.p>
So, in order not to delay the services any longer, I have just signed up another virtual hosting account from the first ISP I had used in the first 3 years of SETIatWork.
Because this is a shared server, I cannot run too many processes at a time for the updating processes or I might get in trouble. So I am resorting to use another script to replace the Classic team stats. It will look quite somewhat different until I have time to modify it back to the classic style.
I need a couple hours to put the scripts in place, modify the configurations and run some tests before going live.
ETA is Saturday, April 30 0500hr UTC. Classic teams stats will be the first followed by BOINC team stats. Other stats will only followed later.
