This afternoon I worked with the server provider over the phone while he in front of the server. After rebooting the server and login as root, the server locked up within seconds. He tried a couple times and even in single user mode but the same thing happened.

The server might have been hacked. It is a Linux box and has nothing to do with the recent Trend Micro bug.

I have no choice but to instruct him to reinstall the system.

I blame myself for not backing up the files so the data files are all gone and I have to rewrite the scripts from the earlier versions stored in my laptop.

Thanks for all your supporting and concerning emails but I am really sorry I have let you fellow S@H stats addicts down ... :(
