The latest radio pulsar re-discoveries are available here.Our count is now at 31 detections of 19 different known radio pulsars.Our latest detection J1939+2134 is the second fastest spinning knownpulsar, rotating almost 700 times in a single second. This means it hascompleted more than 4000 rotations while you've been reading this newspost!

ABP项目的结果再次更新~目前是共31次搜索到19颗不同的脉冲星（虽然还都是已知的）。

其中最近发现的那一颗是目前已知的脉冲星中自转速度第二快的，它在一秒钟内就可以旋转700次！也就是说，在你看这篇新闻的时候，它已经完成了超过4000次的旋转！！！

The (re-)discovery pagehas been updated to include the latest observations made by thesearch for binary pulsars in Arecibo radio data. In total there are now42 re-observations of 26 different radio pulsars. Thanks to allparticipating volunteers!

Parts of the project were taken offline for some cleanup necessary to fix the recent scheduler http problems. We hoped that this could be done within minutes and thus remain unnoticed for most users, but it looks like it will take another hour or two until the scheduler is running again.

项目服务器部分下线，为了进行一些清理工作，以修复最近调度服务器的访问问题。我们本来希望能在几分钟之内搞定，这样大部分用户应该都注意不到，但实际上却多花了一两个小时才让调度服务器重新上线。

Additionally a network switch died. Bad luck. The switch had been replaced. The project should be back after a DB dump.

网络交换机也坏了一个，运气真不好，更换完之后，项目应该已经恢复运行了。

过去 12 小时由于数据库的一个错误输入造成转换器故障，eah 的服务器慢了许多。现在应该恢复了不少了。

ABP（Arecibo Binary Pulsar）搜索正在做重大转变，用户在这段时间不再接收到 ABP1 的任务，只有 S5R6 的任务。

如果出现问题不能立刻解决，将继续 ABP1 的任务。如果一切顺利，将发布新的计算程序 ABP2 开展搜索。


ABP2 执行的是与 ABP1 相同的数据，但是由于代码的优化和更小的计算模块，新计算程序将快得多，大概只需要 ABP1 上 1/5 的时间。

（re-）discovery 页面已经更新，包括最新的从阿雷西博射电数据中搜索到的双星脉冲发现。

现在总共有 53 个重现于 34 个不同的射电脉冲，其中包括 10 个重现于 3 个不同的毫秒级别射电脉冲。

数据库目前非常缓慢，由于 ABP2 的结果数量巨大。。

现在做了些调整以保证项目活跃，但会有一些限制：
调度器（发送任务和回收结果）会部分时间暂停，客户端会看到这样的信息：【temporary down for maintenance】
服务器状态页面已被禁用。

另外还会降低数据库中结果的数量，希望能在几天内恢复正常。
