CAS@home lunchtime meeting next Thursday at CNMM

Dear All,

We will have one of our irregular status meeting about CAS@Home and volunteer computing in China 12:00-14:00 on Thursday, 6 December. This will take place at CNMM, Tsinghua University.

We will be presenting the latest status on the current CAS@home projects for protein structure and nanotechnology, which are running very well these days, and discuss future project topics.

Also, from 15:00 to 17:00  we are organizing a first Volunteer Computing Club for students to learn how to use CAS@home for molecular dynamics simulations with the popular LAMMPS software. If you know a student – undergraduate or Ph.D. - who would be interested to participate, please tell the student to contact Lirui Xie (xielirui@tsinghua.edu.cn). There are only a limited number of places for this training event.

For the purpose of ordering lunch, please confirm by Wednesday evening to Lirui Xie how many people will come from your respective groups. By all means invite students or young researchers who are active or seriously want to become active in CAS@Home.
