FAH的GPU Clients只使用300个Shader?

在FAH官网上闲逛时看到的一个家伙发帖询问的，原文如下：

Hi there,

I was wondering when there will be "real" support for the new ATI cards. Especially cards with more than 300 shaders (like the 5570, 5670, 5770, etc.).

AFAIK the actual client only uses some 300shaders. For Nvidia cards that's full power but for ATI cards that's a huge hit to PPD.

E.g. the 5770 has 800 shaders. Assuming the application scales in a nearly linear fashion we could have almost triple PPD!!

    应该是可以用到320个，如果我这段时间没有学习错误的话。

    因为ATI特殊架构，10组，每个又有16个控制器，总共160个sp流处理器控制器（相当于纹处理器），ATI每个单元控制5个sp（160*5=800），而常规运算是2~3个sp一组，加上ATI设计5个一组sp又分两种，不是所有指令都能在两种sp上执行，因此最低效能下，ATI显卡只能用到2/5的sp。

3850 320sp,  1400ppd； Display上面500iter per second
4870 800sp,  2800ppd； Display上面1100iter per second
也不能这么说啊

不过非常耗费CPU，而且是单线程CPU
不知单线程12G主频的Nehalem架构CPU带着4850跑得过250没有......(纯属YY)

最低效率只能用2/5的SP的话，意味着3850只用到128个SP，4870用到320SP

5970只能用到640SPX2（杯具）
