虽然优化程序得到的计算结果能够通过服务器的验证,但因为:
1. 寻找引力波是由多个机构和组织协作进行的项目,其结果必须得到所有成员的认同;
2. 目前项目的S5阶段的数据来自于LIGO的设计精度运行,对数据处理的精度要求也相当高;
目前用优化程序完成的所有计算均无效,都将由官方程序重新计算,所以还请大家为了项目的顺利进行,都用回官方程序吧!!!
如果大家没有备份官方程序,请下载本文的附件,使用方法同样也是先确定退出BOINC,然后覆盖同名文件即可。

Please, don't use any patched versions of Einstein@Home app.

I see that some of us don't understand the current situation. So, the Einstein@Home staff would be get scientificaly reliable results. Unofficial apps can't meet this requirement, because these applications aren't accepted by any different scientific groups.

To others: Sorry! I was wrong when i tried to improve the speed of the code unofficially. I didn't think that it causes problems. Sorry again... but don't leave the project if you would like to know more about the gravity.

You should know that always the base researches need the most money and they produces the worst efficiency. But they gives the best things for the mankind.

They are confused. They would like to the best for the science, and the good and reliable results are the first. Version number changing was a temporary idea.

Lots of scientists examined the official application before that was issued, so they accepts the results of the official application. They didn't examined the modified apps, so they will not accept its results. |
