eOn posted its most recent news update on April 8. Recently the project "has implemented several strategies to increase the simulation time, accuracy, and system size scaling." A paper about these methods will be published in the next 6 months. Also, the project has received a U.S. National Science Foundation research grant which will allow it to "use quantum mechanics to evaluate the interactions between atoms" so that it can "simulate more interesting systems, including chemical reactions at surfaces, and the computational design of catalysts." |
