Golomb Rectangle
The two-dimensional autocorrelation has three values: 0;1 and K, where K is the number of ones in the array.
One dimension corresponds to time and the second dimension to frequency.

Optimum Golomb Rectangle
it contains G(n,m) ones and this is more than can occur in any smaller Golomb rectangle.
a 1 by n Golomb rectangle with k ones is the same as a length n-1 Golomb ruler with k marks

Definition
Golomb array
discrete autocorrelation function has at most three values; 0, 1, and J ; where J is the number of ones in the array.       
Optimum Golomb array
the number of ones, J , is maximum. --GA(Nk…N2N1)
Ni denote the range of the ith coordinate in an array.
Apex
                  The maximum separation between ones in a one-dimensional Golomb array.
Length
         apex + one
In fig.1, apex=6 and length=7. (Same as length of 6 GR.)

大致意思是:
Golomb性质: 他的自相关函数只有0,1,J, J就是"1"或者刻度的数量,
同样,Golomb距阵有这个属性,这样一来就orthogonal了,
Golomb距阵可以转换为golomb尺, 但不是每个尺都能转化为距阵.
通过Golomb的刻度距离便可以转化为尺,参考文献吧,很多一时说不完,这些是主要的
