Collatz Conjecture is a research project that uses Internet-connected computers to do research in mathematics, specifically testing the Collatz Conjecture also known as 3x+1 or HOTPO (half or triple plus one). You can participate by downloading and running a free program on your computer.

Collatz Conjecture is based in Wood Dale, Illinois, USA and continues the work of the previous 3x+1@home BOINC project which ended in 2008.

里面有提到CUDA，莫非以后此项目也支持GPU运算？

刚看了一下，这个项目各个版本的计算程序都很齐全：win/linux，32/64位，SSE/SSE2，CUDA...

具体计算效率不清楚，只看到有说64的效率大约是32位的两倍。

CUDA包我完成了一个，使用G92核心的9600GSO，大约30分钟，运算正常，推荐大家来试试。

发现我用30分钟完成的这个包得分165分……
推荐大家试试这个项目的CUDA包，虽然得分速度比不上AQUA和Milkyway，还有GPUGRID，但也非常不错。

BTW：任务信息中的 Run time 和 CPU time 有何区别？我有个任务的 run time 是 CPU time的一倍。

看看你的项目参数设置里是不是没有选中使用GPU计算？我一次能下载8个CUDA小包，而且我把使用CPU计算关闭了，这样就只有CUDA包。

我的理解：
run time是实际运行计算程序的时间，
CPU time是真正用于计算的时间。

CPU time=2*run time估计是AQUA
